Managing members
The member roster
Your roster lives at Office → Members (/office/members). Add a member at /office/members/new. Each member record holds their contact and membership details and is the anchor for their certifications, training, documents, and compliance.
Membership levels
Every member has a membership level, such as Active, Social, Junior, or Inactive. The level drives who counts where — for example, junior members may have different document and clearance requirements. Disciplinary states (such as Suspended or Ineligible) are tracked separately from everyday levels.
Lifetime status is a flag on the member, not a level. A member can be Active and also flagged lifetime; lifetime is tracked independently so it never overwrites their working level.
Encrypted personal information
Sensitive personal details are stored encrypted at rest. They are only shown to members of your department who have the right access, and viewing especially sensitive fields is recorded. This protects your members' information even at the database level.
Status history
As a member moves through levels — joins, goes inactive, returns, is suspended — the changes are kept as status history rather than silently overwritten. That gives you a defensible record of who was what, and when, which matters for eligibility, dues, and disciplinary questions later.
