Your apparatus list

Open Apparatus at /apparatus. This is the list of everything you check — engines, tankers, brush trucks, the ambulance, and the station building itself if you run building checks. Add a new one at /apparatus/new and open any apparatus to see its detail page.

Photos and documents

Each apparatus can carry a photo so crews instantly recognize the right rig, plus documents — titles, manuals, warranty paperwork, pump test results, and so on. Upload an image and attach documents from the apparatus page so everything about that unit lives in one place.

Templates per apparatus

Each apparatus owns its own check templates, so Engine 1's check can differ from the tanker's. You build and edit those templates from the apparatus's pages — see Building check templates.

Retiring an apparatus

When a unit leaves service, retire it rather than deleting it. Retiring keeps the apparatus and all its historical checks intact for the record, while removing it from the active list so crews are not prompted to check a truck that is gone. This preserves your audit history without cluttering day-to-day use.
